TEHRAN Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mahmoud Mohammadi said here Saturday, The Islamic Republic of Iran has decided to cut down its economic relations with Argentina. The Islamic Republic of Iran has decided to take this decision based on the antagonistic patterns of political propaganda machinary of the Zionist regime followed by some of the Argentine officials against the Islamic Republic of Iran, added the spokesman.

Foreign Ministry had earlier warned the Argentine charge d'affaires in Tehran of the government decision to review its policies toward Argentina, he concluded. Argentina had repeatedly made baseless allegations which led to the summoning of Argentine charge d'affaires to the Foreign Ministry on Thursday, May 14, where the Foreign Ministry strongly warned the Argentine government on recent biased statement made by some Argentine officials against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
